“Don’t count the days…make the days count.” It is such a great reminder to stop counting the days wishing your life away, and instead start focusing on making each day count as it is happening.
It is important to remember that in life all you can do is your best. Put your heart out there. Lay it all on the line. Give each task your best effort and let the rest come as it may with your head held high. In time great things will come. Don’t waste one minute of your life with worry or stress for things that you cannot change. Focus on the positive. Focus on what you can control and let of the things which serve no purpose. Life tends to throw us all a few curve balls but trust that things are happening for a reason. Whether your perceive a situation as negative or positive you should try to learn and grow from each experience. No matter how out-of-control your day is, no matter how stressful your job or life becomes, the act of being present can become an oasis. It can change your life. Focus on your breathing , Focus on your current surroundings, surround yourself with positive people.
One major shift for me this week has been learning to control how much I use my phone . Do you find it distracting and takes up endless hours of your time? A mobile phone is essential when working in sales but needs to be used within reason. Make the choice to put your phone away when you are with another person, be it having dinner, driving somewhere, watching a movie, or going for a walk. The best time to use a phone is when you are by yourself. Make each and every day count !
